Change account information

Note: Account creation is available with some but not all mobile app variants.

Account information can be changed in the Settings screen in the mobile app. 

To change the name, email address or password:

  • Tap Settings at the bottom of the home screen in the Nokia WiFi mobile app.
  • In the Settings screen, swipe down and tap Account (under General).
    • Full Name
      To edit the Full Name, tap Full Name. Type the new name in the Update Name field and tap the check mark at the top right corner to save the change.

    • Password
      To edit the password, tap Password.
      • You are prompted to verify your password. Type your password and tap Continue.
        Note: If you forgot the current password, you can reset it.
      • If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the one-time code from the authentication app and tap Verify to proceed.
      • Enter your new password as per the password rules and tap Continue. A message confirms that your password was updated. You will then need to sign in to your account.

    • Email
      To edit the email address, tap Email.
      • You are prompted to verify your password. Type your password and tap Continue.
      • If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the one-time code from the authentication app and tap Verify to proceed.
      • Enter your new email address and tap Next.
      • Follow the steps sent to your registered email address to verify it.
      • If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the one-time code from the authentication app to proceed. A message confirms that your email address was verified.

To delete your account, tap the Delete account button on the account details screen.
