UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) allows devices on a local network to automatically discover and connect using standard protocols, simplifying tasks like port forwarding for devices such as printers, gaming consoles, and smart TVs. However, this convenience poses security risks, as UPnP can open router ports without authentication, potentially exposing the network to external threats.
Enabling Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) allows devices such as gaming consoles to directly connect to other devices on the internet.

- In the Settings screen, swipe down and tap Advanced.
- Turn UPnP on or off. Tap Enable to enable the UPnP or tap Cancel.
