Speedtest Application
The Speedtest Software Application ( “Speedtest”) allows you as the user of a device that supports Speedtest (“You”) to test the speed, latency and other primary network characteristics of your TCP/IP network connection and receive the results when the test has successfully completed.  Speedtest is owned and conducted by Ziff Davis Ireland Limited trading as Ookla International and/or, any of its Affiliates (hereinafter, “Ookla International”). This Speedtest privacy notice outlines the processing of data elements, including personal data, when You initiate a test using Speedtest, and the processing of such test results.

Where You, your ISP or at your request Nokia, through its support agents or otherwise, initiates a Speedtest, this test creates a direct relationship between You and Ookla International. Within this relationship, Ookla International will process certain data elements, including personal data, as set forth in Ookla International’s Privacy Policy located here:

You may exercise your rights to access, modify, and delete personal information, and any related rights under any applicable data protection regulations by contacting Ookla International through its DSAR Portal: https://dsar.speedtest.net/.

Processing of Speedtest results by Nokia
If You initiate a Speedtest, the results of the test will be made available directly to You. If Nokia initiates a Speedtest on your request, the results of the Speedtest will be made available to the Nokia support agents. The support agents will make the results available to You on your request. By having Nokia initiate a Speedtest on your request, you specifically consent to Ookla International sharing the Speedtest results with Nokia. 

Nokia will use the Speedtest results to diagnose network connectivity issues, assess network performance, provide support in identifying performance issues, and to create statistics. Any Speedtest data used to create statistics will be fully anonymized prior to the generation of the statistics.

With regard to Nokia’s support services, as they relate to the Speedtest, you may exercise your rights to access, modify, and delete personal information, and any related rights under any applicable data protection regulations by contacting Nokia at
