Error screen: WiFi point is offline

The WiFi point is offline error screen means that your root WiFi point (router) is not communicating with the cloud. More specifically, it is showing as being offline in the Nokia WiFi Cloud Controller NWCC) which manages the communication to the mobile app.

This could be caused by:

  • Your root WiFi point does not have an active internet connection (check your modem or check to see if your internet provider has an outage)
  • The NWCC is having a connectivity issue. (This is unlikely, but if it does occur it should be resolved quickly.)
  • There is an issue with your hardware or cables.

If you get to this screen and wish to set up a new network you can do so from this screen. This will erase any existing app configuration. Follow instructions to setup a new network on Set up your Nokia WiFi.
